We work together as coach and athlete in a two-way feedback loop. Through ongoing communication, we adapt and refine your training along the way, helping you reach your full potential while enjoying the process.

ABOUT
COACH SARAH

I am born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, but have spent several years living in the United States and South Africa.

I was always an active kid, playing team sports until I was 19 years old and moved to the United States to attend college. There, I joined the school’s running team, and I’ve been a runner ever since.

Over the years, I have navigated running through many different stages of life and competed in races ranging from the 800m to ultramarathons.

Today, I live in Gothenburg with my husband and our two children.

I started Thornsson Performance to help more runners navigate their running journey through the different stages of life.

 

Running can be incredibly rewarding when training is adapted to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all program. That’s when we can maximize our potential while enjoying the process to the fullest.

 

Maximizing your potential isn’t just about setting personal bests. It’s about training safely, using science-based principles, and adapting the journey to your fitness level, goals, and everyday life.
